This blog is called the “Filter” because I not only will provide you with original thoughts but I will also be filter for estate planning and other legal topics/information from the internet. As a filter, I will attempt to provide you this information and when appropriate my commentary on it.
This blog may also include information on wellness. We would not only like to help you plan your estate but also want you to be healthy so you don’t use the estate plan we create for many years.
A while back relative of mine contacted me to see if I knew anything about an attorney he was ready to hire for an area of law I did not practice in. He was ready to pay this attorney a rather large retainer.
I had not heard of this attorney but I did a quick check with the Minnesota Lawyers Board of Professional Responsibility for public discipline.
